OEM Fitment Compatibility Explanation

Published by YUNZ AUTO · Installation & Technical

1. What OEM Fitment Means

OEM fitment means the custom steering wheel is designed to install directly onto the vehicle's steering column without modification. The spline pattern, bolt thread, and clock spring alignment match the original equipment. This ensures proper installation without adapters or custom brackets.

2. Electronic Compatibility

Modern German vehicles use steering wheels with integrated electronic functions: heating, multifunction buttons, touch sensors, and driver assistance controls. A compatible custom wheel must have matching connectors and pin assignments. YUNZ AUTO steering wheels are built to maintain these electronic connections as original.

3. Airbag System Compatibility

The airbag module must fit and function correctly on the replacement wheel. YUNZ AUTO designs steering wheels to accept the original airbag module. The airbag connector, clock spring, and deployment path must remain unobstructed. Never modify airbag components during installation.

4. Verifying Compatibility Before Order

Before placing an order, provide the vehicle's exact model, chassis code, year, and original steering wheel features. YUNZ AUTO confirms compatibility based on these details. For uncommon or new models, contact us to verify before ordering.
